Russian railways introduced electronic tickets
When buying the tickets for long-distance trains in the Internet the passengers from now on will be able to get special tickets analogous to the boarding passes in the airplane.
These coupons will replace the pre-ordered tickets that had to be printed on the platform after paying for ticket online. “The coupons should make the life easier, especially for those who go on the business trips because now it is not necessary to get “normal” tickets for the accountancy reasons”, Itar-Tass reports referring to Russian railways. Now one can print the ticket at any printer because the ticket is protected from the fraud with a special code that allows the accountant to verify the authenticity of the ticket.
