The Northern Caucasus Resorts has joined the Green Development Forum. It has studied the BREEAM certification system, ITAR-TASS reports.
Irina Topchidi, Director of the Department for Land and Property of the Northern Caucasus Resorts, said that sensitive environment of the Caucasus cannot neglect ecological standards.
The BREEAM system includes several schemes of standards with account of national peculiarities and local construction standards. The Northern Caucasus Resorts was the first winner of the Golden Ecological Standard Award of Terra Viva, headed by Nikolai Drozdov, in May 2012.
