Imam Magomedkamil Gamzatov and a mosque-goer were killed at the Karamakhi Village in the Buynaksky District of Dagestan at 11.30 pm on Thursday, ITAR-TASS reports.
Assailants set the local mosque on fire and left the place on a stolen vehicle. Locals put the fire out themselves.
