SIVECO, a Romanian software company, and Ultra, an Azerbaijani IT company, have concluded the first stage of implementing electronic books in schools, SIVECO President Irina Sokol said, Trend reports.
Expansion of cooperation with the company was discussed with Azerbaijani Minister for Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov.
Electronic books are available at 50 Azerbaijani schools. The second stage of the project would increase coverage.
SIVEGO was founded in 1992. It is one of the largest integrators of software in Central and Eastern Europe. The company develops and exports IT initiatives and consulting projects in EU states, Middle East, Northern Africa and CIS.
It promotes ideas in agriculture, education, healthcare, petroleum.
Azerbaijan and Romania are strategic partners and plan expanding cooperation. SIVECO takes part in the project for management of national education and electronic studies of Azerbaijan.
