Islamic relics of Prophet Muhammad will arrive from the UAE to Grozny soon, Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said, the Chechen governmental website reports.
An organization committee was formed for delivery of the relics. Hair and the beard of Muhammad, pieces of his clothes and other items will arrive on a special flight.
The relics are stored by Ahmad bin Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hazrati’s family, descendents of Muhammad.
A member of the Federation Council of Russia Ziyad Sabsabi emphasized that the relics have never been out of the sheikh’s house. Chechens will have four days to see the relics. Sheikh Ahmad decided to bring the relics to honour Kadyrov for his achievements for Islam and Muslims.
