Starting from the next year the Georgian Ministry for Education will evaluate public schools by a "10 star" system, Georgia Online reports.
Schools will be evaluated by various criteria and granted the corresponding number of stars, with 10 the highest scoring. Among the main criteria will be institutional data, studying/education, teachers' professionalism, participation in various projects and programs, accreditation and so on. In the beginning every school will receive five stars and then this value will be adjusted according to the results of examinations.
