The international festival of the Slavic culture planned for August 3-5 in
Slavyansk-on-Kuban has been cancelled, yuga.ru reports.
“The organizer decided to postpone the festival for the next year due
to the tragic events in Krymsk, Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik,” the
press-service of the local administration said.As a result of the floods in the region more than 2000 houses were
destroyed and 34,000 people were affected by the catastrophe.
According to the Ministry of Emergencies, 171 people died.
