Red Cross evacuates its staff from Syrian Aleppo to Beirut

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is evacuating its employees from the Syrian town of Aleppo due to the rapidly deteriorating situation in the country, Interfax reports referring to the representative of the organization.

The representative of the ICRC said that the unstable and deteriorating situation in some parts of the country led to the temporal move of the ICRC employees outside Syria. He added that the majority of employees will continue working in Damascus.
