Fire at Georgian national park

Over 1,000 hectares caught fire at the Vashlovansky National Park of Georgia, RBC reports.

Aviation was mobilized to put the fire out this morning. Georgian Minister for Environment Georgy Khachidze said that the main fire centers have been put out. No unique flora species have been harmed.

Khachidze said that the fire was extinguished, News Georgia reports.

The fire started on July 30. The emergency services of Kakheti took 15 hours to put it out.
