Children’s intensive care receives new equipment

The intensive care section of the children’s hospital in Nalchik has received new equipment, as stated by Yelena Baybarina, Director of the department for medical aid for children and maternity of the Russian Healthcare Ministry, RIA Novosti reports.

8 children died at the hospital early this year, including 7 babies. The power cut on January 6 had nothing to do with the death of children, the official said.

Batteries of new equipment may operate for over 2 hours. All medical centers need generators and other power units to prevent power cuts.
