Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated the airborne troops and veterans, marking the Day of the Airborne Troops, ITAR-TASS reports.
Putin visited the 31st air-assault guards brigade. He assured the troops that the government would continue developing the Airborne Forces. The president observed the training process and met soldiers, veterans and pupils of Suvorov schools.
