Vladikavkaz will launch a bicycle race to Tbilisi organized by young Georgians and Russians. Six young men and three women will take part in the Vladikavkaz-Tbilisi race. They will spend a night in the Kazbegi mountains and arrive in Tbilisi on August 3, covering 202 km, News Georgia reports.
The race was organized as a contribution to the rapprochement of Russia and Georgia. It should also encourage the Russian authorities to lift visa barriers, develop tourism in Georgia and attract more visitors.
