Cossacks of the Yekaterinburg District and special forces of the Southern Military District (SMD) have started joint military drills in the Krasnodar Territory, RIA Novosti cites Colonel Igor Gorbul.
The number of Cossacks starting military service increased by 60% in 2011, compared with 2010. About 350 people are taking part in the 3-day military drills
Targets will be shot at ranges of 150-450 meters.
