44 people were detained after a mass brawl in Perm on Tuesday-Wednesday night, Interfax reports.
The fight happened at Bakharevskaya Street, 53. Five people needed medical aid after the fight.
The conflict happened between Armenian and Tajik communities. First reports about the fight were registered at 1.20 am. 24 police groups were mobilized to stop the conflict, spokesman of the Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry of the Perm Region Mikhail Davydov said.
He noted that about 50 people were detained. The official explained that two females were having a walk with their Armenian friend drunk on the Street of Vasiliyev. A Tajik group insulted them. The Armenian started a fight.
The police found a traumatic pistol and a short-barreled rifle at the place. A criminal case was initiated for hooliganism.
