Vice Mayor of Khasavyurt, Salimkhan Jamaldinov, has been dismissed, because his son supported terrorism, RIA Novosti reports.
The police surrounded a private house with four militants inside on Wednesday. Three militants surrendered, one was killed. One of the detained militants turned out to be the vice mayor’s son Iskhak Jamaldinov.
Dagestani Leader Magomedsalam Magomedov said that even indirect involvement of state or municipal functionaries is unacceptable.
