The police have identified the man killed in Khasavyurt after attacking officers. According to preliminary information, he was identified as Vahmurad Yusupov born in 1984. He had a Stechkin pistol with a clip of 20 9mm bullets, an AK-74 with 30 5.45mm bullets. Two police officers were killed, RIA Novosti reports.
Two other assailants left their vehicle. The police found an AK-74, an under-barrel grenade launcher GP-25, 7 VOG-25 shots, 2 F-1 grenades, 11 magazines for AK-74,75 5.45mm bullets, over 100 5.45mm and 7.62mm shells and a mask.
A group of police officers was attacked at the crossing of the Streets of Vishnevsky and Stroiteli in Kizilyart at 11.05 pm. One police officer was injured. The assailants were driving a stolen vehicle and were attacked by the police at 2.25 am. The police found 15 7.62mm shells, 41 5.45mm shells, an AK magazine with 30 7.62mm bullets.
