Over 250 police officers are involved in rescue operations at the Novomikhailovsky Village of the Tuapsinsky District of the Krasnodar Territory. Police officers were sent from Krasnodar (20), Gelendzhik (30), Goryachy Kluch (30). OMON and SOBR forces were also mobilized, RIA Novosti reports.
River Nechepsukho went off the banks and submerged about 1,500 people, 600 houses, a hospital and a school. 1,800 people suffered from the earthquake.
88 non-departmental security officers were mobilized.
