According to recent data, about 6.6 thousand people remain without power in the Tuapse district of Krasnodar Territory, which recently suffered flooding, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to the representative of the company "Kubanenergo".
During the flooding in Tuapse and Sochi about 14 thousand people were without electricity. In particular, there were black-outs in such villages as Novomikhailovsky, Olginka and Lermontov, as well as in Lazarevskoye and Asha (near Sochi). According to the data at 15:00 Moscow time, Wednesday, the number of those disconnected from the electricity supply fell to 7.8 thousand.
"6.6 thousand people are without electricity now. Engineers will work around the clock until power will be restored in the area," the source says.
