Georgia with 91.5 points is at the forefront in terms of the security its citizens feel, according to a GALLUP World poll published by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.
The study was conducted simultaneously in 143 countries, News-Georgia reports.
"According to the research, Georgia is at the forefront in terms of the perception of its citizens; it is considered to be the safest country. The sense of security level for Georgia is more than the rates of both the other countries of the South Caucasus and more than the average of Europe, Asia and the former Soviet Union," the statement says.
The average sense of security felt in the former Soviet Union is 51.5 points, the average of the world is 57, the average of Europe is 65, and the average of Asia is 73.5.
