Today, August 23, on the birthday of Akhmat Kadyrov, a new mosque
opened in a Chechen village of Alleroi, the press-service of the
Chechen Republic reports.
The Mosque was named after Soip Zakriyev. 5000 people can pray in the
mosque simultaneously.
Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, who attended the opening
ceremony, said that he personally knew Soip Zakriyev.
"He was a pure, decent and God-loving person who was a good example to us
all and who died in the sacred city of Mecca," the head of
the Republic said.
The villagers of Alleroi gave Ramzan Kadyrov a present - a stick of
the famous sheikh Abas-Khadji.
