Ramzan Aliyev, a border guard who killed 7 fellow compatriots, was a Wahhabi, Interfax reports.
The military wanted to fire him three times for his addiction to Wahhabi literature, but could not find justified reasons. His duty started on Tuesday at 10 am. He had an AK with two ammo clips.
Aliyev made at least 30 shots at about 4 pm. Two soldiers died and two were wounded.
The suspect was taken to the SOBR Special Center of the Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry at the Altai Territory in Dagestan and made 30 more shots at the police. Five police officers were killed and 4 wounded.
Aliyev was shot.
