One worker was killed and five were left suffering from smoke inhalation following a fire at the Orhanlı Industrial Zone in Istanbul’s Tuzla district on August 29, Hurriyet reports.
The body of the unidentified worker was discovered yesterday after fire crews had finally doused the blaze.
The fire started in the logistic support center, administration and warehouse part of a food company at around 7 p.m. on Aug 29.
Firefighters responded to the blaze with 70 vehicles and a 220-person team. Three workers and two firefighters were sent to hospital due to smoke inhalation.
