Blizzard closes access to World of Warcraft game to Iranian players due to US sanctions

Iranian users of the popular game World of Warcraft have been denied access to the game due to sanctions imposed by the US against Iran, Gazeta reports with reference to the Business Insider.

Originally Iranian citizens suspected the government in blocking the access. However, game developer Blizzard Entertainment has posted a message on the website saying that the access to the game is closed due to sanctions.
