A police officer has died in the recent blast in Grozny, ITAR-TASS reports.
The blast occured in the car of a police officer responsible for the protection of petroleum facilities at a yard of multi-storey building in the Ippodromny Microdistrict at about 8.30 am. The officer died in hospital.
Investigators say a bomb went off underneath his car.
