Russia’s oldest man dies aged 122

122-year old Magomed Labazanov, the oldest Russian man from the Staraya Serebryakovka Village of Dagestan, died last night, RIA Novosti reports.

The man marked his 122nd birthday on May 1. He has recently got sick and died on September 6.

Labazanov was born in the Gadari Village of Tsumadinsky District on May 1, 1980. He lived in Chechnya, was deported to Kazakhstan in 1944 and was returned to Chechnya.He moved to the Kizlyarsky District later.

Jiroemon Kimura born on April 19, 1897, from Japan is the oldest man on the planet.
