The 4th Baku Summer Energy School of the Azerbaijani Diplomatic Academy was opened today, Trend reports.
"The aim of opening the Summer School is to give students from abroad the opportunity to learn more about our country, with it's rich oil and gas history", said the President of the Academy, Khafiz Pashaev. He believes that, during the School's duration, relations between Azerbaijani and foreign universities will be established.
Prominent representatives of the oil and gas industry, as well as high-ranking officials of the country such as the Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Aliev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mamedjarov will take part in the School's work.
This year the 41 students were chosen from 160 applicants, including students from Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Greece, the USA and other countries.
