Volunteers, students and employees of the Elbrus National Park have
collected more than 20 tons of garbage in one day on Elbrus,
the administration of the Elbrus region of Kabardino-Balkaria said on
Monday, RIA Novosti reports.
The garbage removed from the park included, among other things, rusty
iron objects, old ropes and rubber tires.
One of the organizers of the event, the director of Elbrus National Park,
Zalimkhan Dzhappuev, said that there was so much garbage that it took
two days to dispose of it.
