Policeman who died during Saturday operation to become Hero of Russia

A Special Police officer of Adygea, Artem Garmash, who was killed during a
special operation in Dagestan, has been nominated to be a Hero of Russia, RIA Novosti reports on Monday with reference to
the Russian Interior Ministry.

During the operation militants were killed and a great amount of arms
was found at a house they lived in.

The Interior Minister of Adygea, Alexander Rechitsky, promised that he
would personally supervise the rendering of help to the family members
of the deceased.
