Four militants under command of Biaslan Gochiyayev have been sentenced to 1-8 years of prison in Karachay-Cherkessia, press secretary of the Supreme Court of the region Alibek Botashev said, RIA Novosti reports.
Gochiyayev was a militant leader from early 2009 to December 7, 2011. His group includes Averyanov, Kipkeyev, Chotchayev, Temurlan Totorkulov, Urusov and Dlugoborsky.
Gochiyayev, Totorkulov, Dlugoborsky and Urusova were killed on the road between Kumysh and Krasny Oktyabr by police officers on December 7, 2011.
Kipkeyev, Averyanov, Chotchayev were stopped sentenced for being part of illegal armed formations, trafficking and illegal manufacturing of weapons and an attempt to organize a coup. Laypanov was sentenced for helping the militants.
Averyanov got 8 years of prison, Kipkeyev and Chotchayev 2 years, Laypanov got 1.
