Magomedov says he is ready to support voluntary projects in Dagestan

The head of Dagestan, Magomedsalam Magomedov, is ready to support voluntary projects that are related to patient care, the elderly and solutions to environmental problems, RIA Novosti reports. "I've always liked these projects, and I am ready to support them," the head of the Republic said, noting that such actions in Dagestan involved more than 120,000 people.

"This is a huge part of Dagestani youth. I want to say that those who say that our young people are not interested in human values, in a humane, patriotic approach, are mistaken ," Magomedov said.

On Thursday, he visitedinterregional educational forum "Caspian", which is taking place in Dagestan. It is being attended by more than 650 kids from all the republics of the North Caucasus and many regions of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

The Dagestani President expressed satisfaction with the situation on the board. "I liked how the young people study and relax. At these sites people get to know each other and communicate. The geography of the forum and the number of participants are growing. The number of those wishing to take part in the forum is much higher than the number of participants, so we are thinking about expanding the site, as young people like it," Magomedov said, noting that one of the purposes of the forum is to show that Dagestan is  a hospitable republic.
