A fire broke out at the Armenian Ministry for Transportation and Communications and the Armenia Marriott Hotel at the Republic Square of Yerevan center, News Armenia reports.
The fire has been put out. Emergency officials say that the fire was caused by boxes of fireworks.
Yerevan marked its 2794th anniversary on Sunday. Armenian and Russian celebrities had a concert at the Republic Square, followed by fireworks.
