64 young families in Dagestan have been given new apartments in Makhachkala according to a state program, Interfax cites Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan Nizami Kaziyev as saying.
Each family needs to pay 30% of an apartment’s price, 40% will be paid by the government and 20% will be paid by the family within the next 20 years.
About 7000 people in Dagestan need accommodation. The state program providing them with housing will continue until 2015 for couples aged under 35.
