Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a Goodwill Ambassador to UNESCO and ISESCO, a member of Azerbaijani parliament and the first lady of Azerbaijan provided free meat for 30,000 Pakistanis in the Lakki Marwat District and three villages of the Punjab Province, APA reports.
Pakistani politicians, local religious officials, members of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Islamabad and media officials attended the celebrations. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Dashgyn Shikarov described the projects of Mehriban Aliyeva in foreign states.
Shikarov visited a children’s hospital and a girls’ school at Lakki Marwat, supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
