This morning, as a result of heavy rains, in the North Iranian province of Mazanderan the mudslides caused serious damage to the infrastructure, particularly in the towns of Chalus and Nowshahr.
Iranian TV channel IRIBNEWS transfers that the mudslides have damaged roads, argicultural fields and destroyed several ohuses. In addition, some districts were cut off electricity and gas. The mudslides have also caused several deaths.
The rescue works continue in the affected districts.
