Unidentified assailants attacked the house of Aslan Tsechoyev, Deputy Chief Investigator of Malgobek of the Investigative Department of the Russian Investigative Committee in Ingushetia, at about 3.30 am, Interfax reports.
Tsechoyev was wounded and taken to the Malgobek Central District Hospital. His family was uninjured, but the house was badly damaged.
The police initiated a case for attack on an investigator, illegal trafficking of weapons and property damage.
