RIA Novosti and the North-South Center for Political Analysis are launching the Journalism Mastery School in Baku (Azerbaijan).
Yulia Yakusheva, Deputy Director General of the North-South Center for Political Analysis, said that the main goal of the project was to exchange experience and discuss development of media space and new information technologies.
Gennady Bordyugov, Ismail Agakishiyev and Alexey Vlasov are the media specialists involved in the process, Yakusheva says.
Russian historians will present new works at the Russian Book House in Baku, assisted by the History Department of the MSU of Lomonosov.
Yakusheva added that attendants of the school will exchange views on tolerance in mass media, information about South Caucasus and related issues. She believes that the meetings will be held at least three times a year.
