A criminal case was initiated in Kazakhstan over a Mi-8 helicopter of Eurasia Air that had went missing on November 24.
The helicopter was monitoring the Kazakh-Chinese pipeline. It carried five crew members and three specialists.
A special brigade of 54 officials, including members of the Department for Emergencies, police officers, railway workers and local volunteers, was formed to search for the helicopter under command of the deputy head of the Department for Emergency of the Alma-Ata Region. Four helicopters, ground and naval vehicles have not found the missing aircraft yet.
