Two US-based internet-monitoring companies have reported that Syria
had shut off the internet across the country, Associated Press
reports.
"Syria has partially cut internet connections during the 20-month
uprising against President Bashar Assad, but a nationwide shut-down is
unprecedented," AP reports.
