Doctor Movsur Yekhikhanov, who left a 17-year-old teenager without an arm, has been sentenced to limitation of freedom, RIA Novosti reports.
The doctor received a patient with a broken arm on August 7, 2011. Yekhikhanov’s treatment of the arm caused infection. The doctor amputated the teen’s right arm until the shoulder.
Yekhikhanov was sentenced for inappropriate treatment and unprofessionalism resulting in grave health problems. He was sentenced to 3 years of limited freedom.
