8 people died and 23 were injured in an earthquake in the Southern Khorasan Province of Iran, Mehr reports.
Muhammedali Akhundi, head of the directorate for emergencies of the Southern Khorasan Province, said that tents and all the necessary products had been provided.
The earthquake in Zohan, 79 km away from Birjend. The earthquake had a magnitude of 5.6 points on Richter scale with its center at a depth of 5.4 km.
