Motor traffic on the 18-72 km of the Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo road has been closed due to heavy snowfall. All vehicular movement has been prohibited on this section of the road.
As the Roads Department of the Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry told Trend, restrictions were made at the Cross Pass due to heavy snow.
Movement in the direction of Russia was suspended. Snow removal is under way on the site.
Movements of trailers, semi-trailer vehicles and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is prohibited on this section of the road.
