Iran filed a protest note to Azerbaijan for hosting the Congress of World Azerbaijanis in Baku.
The note points out that Azerbaijani MP Sabir Rustamkhanly supported the idea of forming Southern Azerbaijan on the territory of Iran. Tehran expressed concerns about the congress being held in Baku.
