After mass killings in the US, access to arms has once again appeared
on the agenda. Today Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev again spoke
against allowing weapons to be carried in Russia.
In 2010, Medvedev, being the president of Russia, tightened
control over the circulation of pneumatic and traumatic guns and
banned the wearing and use of sports airguns, as well as the sale of
ammunition for civilian weapons to those who do not have permission to
use them.
