Crossing the Russian-Ukrainian border using the Kavkaz Port in the Krasnodar Territory has been temporarily closed, a bypass route is available through Taganrog in the Rostov Region, RIA Novosti reports.
Bad weather conditions forced the Caucasus-Crimea route to be closed. About 20 vehicles, half of them being freighters, are waiting to pass at the customs office. The weather is expected to improve on Saturday. The ferry over the Kerch Strait should open then.
