Quake hits Iran

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Iranian Khoy city on Sunday, the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) said. Tremors took place at 10:38 local time in 82 km south-west of the Nakhchivan.
No casualties and damages are reported as a result of the earthquake. Tremors measuring 2-3 points were felt in Ordubad, Julfa and southern regions of Azerbaijan bordering with Iran.
