All-Russian Public Organization "Union of Armenians of Russia” (UAR) will cooperate with the Ministry of Armenia on Diaspora. The agreement was signed on Thursday by the President of the UAR, the UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Ara Abrahamian and Minister of the Republic of the diaspora Granush Hakobyan.
According to the Minister, cooperation with UAR, will include an inventory of historical and cultural monuments on the CIS territory, organization of literary and art contests, as well as annual events towards April 24 (Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day). According to Abrahamian, "cooperation with the Ministry gives the UAR initiatives new strength and energy".
