Azerbaijani traffic police to check observance of traffic rules in TV series

The head of the Public Affairs Department of the General Directorate
of the State Traffic Police of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, said today
that the television series broadcast by Azerbaijani TV channels
are full of scenes featuring violations of traffic rules. Aliyev said
that it gives drivers a wrong attitude towards compliance with the
traffic rules.

He stressed that if TV series were to propagate safe driving it would
have a beneficial effect on drivers.

Aliyev also mentioned movies and TV reports in which drivers violate
traffic rules.

From now on, the Azerbaijani traffic police will patrol TV violations as well.
