A member of the organizing committee for the Chess Olympiad in Baku, Armenian national and honorary vice-president of the International Chess Federation Vanik Zakarian, will visit Azerbaijan in February as part of a FIDE delegation, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov told journalists in Armenia.
Ilyumzhinov said that FIDE would like to hold joint activities to contribute to promoting peace and finding solutions to political, economic and other issues, News-Armenia reports.
