The Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico is negotiating with the executives of Mexico City to move the Heydar Aliyev monument from the Friendship Park, RIA Novosti cites Ambassador Ilgar Mukhtarov
The monument appeared at the park in August 2012. Mexico City Mayor Miguel Angel Mancera said that the city will pay for its transportation. The monument is moved due to violation of urban planning rules by Ex-Mayor Marcelo Ebrard.
The monument will be moved no later than this Sunday.
