16 passengers and 5 crew members died in the plane crash at the Alma-Ata Airport, RIA Novosti reports.
The crew members are: Vladimir Yevdokimov, Alexander Sharapov, Slava Babayan, Irina Krivonosova, Dina Aspandiarova.
The passengers are: Galymzhan Duisenov, Dyusenhan Dyuzbaev, Bakhytzhan Bekzhan Askar Khusainov Nicholai Latkov, Qaisar Malgazhdarov, Akram Nizams, Abilzhan Omarov, Marat Orazbayev, Indira Rakhymbekov, Alexander Surikov, Arsen Shutikov, Askar Yeskendirov, Ivan Lark, Vladimir Feist, Alexander Rubas.
According to preliminary information, the crash was caused by severe weather conditions and fog.
A governmental commission headed Minister for Regional Development Bakitzhan Sagintayev was formed. It includes Minister for Emergencies Vladimir Borzho, Minister for Transportation and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev, officials of the Prosecutor General’s Office, and other structures.
The plane flied a total of 25707 hours. Its last repair was on June 26, 2011. It was certified until September 20, 2013.
